House. Late C18 with some late C19 alterations. Stucco, probably on brick
with hipped slate roof, stacks to side walls. Gothick style. Two storeys
with deep modillioned cornice. Three windows, the outer ones of two pointed
lights under ogee heads, central window, a French casement with two ogee
headed lights in moulded architrave, leads onto roof of portico which has a
wrought iron balustrade. Portico supported by fluted Doric columns; entrance
has a moulded architrave and the door has glazing with an ogee head. To
east corner of house is a three-storey water tower (the top floor has blind
windows) with crenellated parapet.
