Three houses. Probably C15, extended late C17, with some late C19 and mid C20 alterations. Timber-frame with painted brick and rendered infill on stone plinth, machine tile roof. T-plan, Nos 52 and 53 in C17 range to north, No 54 in the C15 east/west cross-wing; main stack at junction. East front: range to right of one storey with attic lit by two gabled dormers, 1 + 2 casements to ground floor, entrances to Nos 52 and 53 close to centre with four flush panel doors, that to right has a porch with lean-to tiled roof. Cross-wing to left gabled with a canted oriel to each floor, cusped C19 bargeboard to gable and C19 bell cote (without bell) in centre of roof. Entrance to right-hand wall. Framing: C15 part has curved angle braces and tension braces, truss has clapsed purlins, and three struts to collar. C17 range three and four rectangular panels high with straight tension braces.
