Field barn. C18. Thin-bedded coursed sandstone rubble, concrete double Roman tile
one slope and corrugated asbestos-cement one slope (to yard). Yard front has full-
height central cart doors set to heavy cut quoins,, with 2 over 3 ventilation slits
each side; far side has low cart entry, a plank door far right, and swept down roof
over extension, left, and left gable with ventilation slits and a segmental-headed
plank door. Interior: 5-bay strutted collar and tie roof, stone floored cart-way
with low wall to one side. The barn forms the edge of a stock-yard, on the far
side of which are the remains of the Chapel (qv).
