House. C15 core, largely remodelled during late C16 or early C17; C20
alterations. Timber-framed with wattle-and-daub infill, sandstone rubble
plinth and part refacing to south-west side, weatherboard cladding to south-
west side and to north-east gable end. Main block aligned north-east/south-
west with cross-wing at south-west end; large axial stack at junction with
cross-wing and further lateral stack at north-east gable end. Central
entrance to south-east front. Two storeys; gable end of cross wing to
left with jettied upper storey, leaded 3-light casement window. Main
block to right with three leaded 2-light casement windows. Similar 2-light
window to right of ledged door. Square panelled timber-framing. Interior
is altered but reveals one cruck truss situated to the south-west of the
stack.
