House. c1600, with mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed, painted brick infill,
rubble plinth and machine tiled roof. Two plus one framed bays aligned east/
west with large external rubble chimney at east gable end with detached brick
stack. Single storey and attic with rear dormers. Framing: mainly three panels
from sill to wall-plate, long straight braces in lower corners; long swept braces
in lower corners at west gable end; collar and tie-beam trusses with three struts
to collar and V-strut in apex at gable ends. North front elevation: ground
floor has two 3-light casements and a rectangular light, all with plank weather-
ings. Brick ridge stack at west gable end. Main entrance to rear of large
external chimney has a C20 lean-to glazed porch and half-glazed door.
Interior: large fireplace blocked but large timber bressummer retained.
