The description shall be amended to read:
Wall C1700 and C20 red brick and blue lias stone with Cotswold stone to piers.
Gate piers red brick and stone with stone corniced caps and ball finials.
Flanking walls are red brick faced to road and blue lias stone to garden. Moulded
stone coping ramped up to outer walls which are blue lias to road and brick to
garden. Left side wall broken for carriage drive with 2 tall Cotswold stone
gate piers. The wall is in three sections, north to south. 40m of c1700 thin
coursed blue lias with triangular coping and two tall gate piers. lam of red
brick wall said to date from 1910 but in a manner contemporary with the house.
This section contains the main entrance gates. 18m of thin blue lias with a
rubble coping, said to be a C20 rebuild. The wall makes an important contribution
to the setting of the Manor House.
