House. C15 with mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed, painted
brick and rendered infill, brick replacement walling and refacing, half-
hipped thatched roof. Three framed bays, chimney between south end and
central bay with paired diagonal brick ridge stacks and large external chimney
with offsets at north gable end; single storey and attic with dormers.
Framing: cruck-framed; very irregular panels: two, three and four panels high
from sill to wall-plate, swept brace in lower right corner of east front ele-
vation, full cruck truss exposed in each gable end. East front elevation:
irregular fenestration, ground floor has two 3-light casements and two rec-
tangular lights, central eyebrow dormer cut into thatch with a 2-light case-
ment, and stable door at far left. Interior not inspected. C20 lean-to
extension at south gable end. One of three cruck-framed houses in the village.
