The House is part of the Cadogan Estate, built in the 1880s; but in the first decade of
the C20 a sumptuous interior was inserted in the manner of Romaine Walker and possibly
designed by him. This comprises a fine marble-lined staircase with stair in the French
manner. Two ground floor reception rooms in Adam or English C18 style and 2 first
floor reception rooms in the French C18 manner. Listed for the interior only.
