Rather grand mid C19 terrace, the largest of the Grafton Square layout. Each
house 4 storeys and basement, 2 windows. Stucco with banded rusticated basement
and ground floor to cornice (level with door and window cornices) on which rest
pilasters supporting flowery guilloche moulded main frieze and cornice. Shorter
pilasters, in attic storey above this, support top frieze and cornice, and parapet
with openwork sections. Paired moulded brackets to cornice. Alternating single
and tripartite windows with horizontal bars, second and third floor in moulded
architraves, ground and first floor in raised borders of sunflower stems with
flowers as angle paterae (some missing). Console bracketed cornices over, those
on ground floor with pediments and projecting cills with cast iron guards.
Nine steps with balustrades to 4-panel doors, with plain rectangular fanlights
(some blocked) set back behind modified entablature surrounds. End houses have
set back entrance bays.
