C18 or before. The exterior has been altered. Now rendered and painted.
Formerly thatched. 2 storeys. 3 windows. The former stables are now
incorporated into the Public House as the Lounge Bar. The present public
bar was the original premises. Of special interest is the highwayman's
hide built into the open back of the chimney in the lounge bar and visible
from the exterior on the left hand side.
