Group of buildings ranging in date from late C16 to circa 1700 and with modern
additions behind. At left 2 parallel ranges with hipped ends to road merging
with roof slope of lower front range parallel to road. Behind at right another
range, also parallel to road. Tiled roofs, mostly gable ended with C17 chimneys.
Front elevation of C18 brown brick with red brick dressings. Windows all C19
or modern including a large ground floor canted bay and a 1st floor oriel under
gable breaking eaves. Pent porch fills angle between front and left ranges
and a brick chimney rises through it. Interior considerably restored but there
is much original exposed timber some with carpenters' marks, also a barrel
vaulted brick cellar of circa 1700. Very picturesque, although jumbled, appearance.
