Timber framed building, probably of C16, with C17 and modern alterations. Two storeys, three windows. Old hipped tiled roof extending at left on a lower level above carriageway. Three gables, continuously jettied over three first floor oriel bay windows. Visible framing of two periods, with plaster filling. On ground floor shop windows, modern but seemly. C17 square framing visible on left return through carriageway. Some C18 and early C19 sash windows with glazing bars in this part; and further back extensions of circa 1800. Plenty of exposed timber inside.
