Built circa 1782 for Sir James Esdaile and altered circa 1840 in the Gothic
style. Rendered exterior. Large central canted bay of 3 storeys with 2
storey wings each of 1 bay. Raised band over ground floor, cornice over 1st
floor (and second in central bay), castellated parapet. Casements to ground
and 1st floors sashes in 2nd floor of central bay. Interior has some late
C18 chimney-pieces.
