Late C19 by G H Hunt. Stone classical building with rounded corner. 3 main storeys
plus slated mansard. Channelled ground storey with round headed windows linked
by decorated impost band and with masked keys. Elaborately decorated consoles
support cornice at 1st floor level. Giant order of Corinthian pilasters rise through
1st and 2nd storeys with attached columns of modified order to curved corner.
1st floor windows With alternate triangular and segmental pediments. Entablature
crowned by parapet formed as balustrade with urns over dies. Large circular lantern
with small cupola above.
