C18, altered and added to by Sir Charles Nicholson in the early C20. Large 2 storey
house. Red brick with tiled roof. Six windows wide with projecting wings, sashes
with glazing bars. Off-centre porch. Modillion eaves cornice. Garden front with
2 storey bow, the best external feature. A much altered house, but still worth
listing.
