5/57 Gatescreen, piers and
gates at The Coach House

GV II

Gatescreen, piers and gates formerly serving Netherfield House
(q.v.) which now has separate access. Circa 1896 for Mrs Prior.
Wrought iron and ashlar stonework. Arts and Crafts style
ornamental wrought iron double gates, standards and side rails
(wicket in right hand railings) between 2 tall slender square
stone piers with ball finials. The gate standards terminate in
lights in the form of beacon braziers.
