Stable and coach house block. Circa 1689 for Edmund Field. 2-
storeys red brick in Flemish bond with lighter red brick at
openings, flat gauged arches and floor band. Steep hipped old
red tiled roof with 3 slate courses at eaves. Facing E with 2
pair of boarded double doors to coach house in middle. 2-windows
over 2-light wooden casements, one formed by bricking up the
lower part of a 1st floor doorway. Symmetrical arrangement of 2
windows flanking a door, on each floor at S part. Upper door an
altered window. Formerly similar at N part but upper low door in
heavy frame remains, and lower door replaced by C19 double doors.
Plain rear elevation with high floorband and small windows under
the eaves.
