5/8 Hill monument, in the churchyard,
about 18m south of east end of
chancel, Church of St. Mary

GV II

Chest tomb; probably c1800. Stone. Flat lid, moulded edge,
fluted frieze with paterae, quarter rectangular corner balusters,
stem fluted, sides and ends moulded frame to rectangular panel.
Sunk in ground; any inscriptions on sides weathered off.
Inscription on lid to Ann Hill, died an infant in 1796. Similar to
Tibbatts and Hartland monuments (q.v.).
