Detached house. c1900. By Amos Faulkner; built by William
Willett & Son. Red brick with tile-hung 1st floor. Tiled
gabled roofs with tall brick slab chimney-stacks, dormers and
projecting timber modillion eaves cornice. Asymmetrical
design.
2 storeys and attic. Irregular fenestration of 3 windows. All
windows with glazing bars. Central portico with tiled hipped
roof having projecting rafters supported on 6 painted columns.
Slightly projecting right hand bay with 10-light transom and
mullion bow window with modillion cornice and 3-light window
with cast-iron balcony to 1st floor. Gable with bargeboards.
Left hand bay with 5-light canted bay of transom and mullion
windows with modillion cornice; 1st floor 3-light window.
Rendered gable with modillion eaves cornice. Left hand return
with lean-to single storey having a tiled roof with projecting
rafters and presenting a subsidiary entrance with C20 panelled
door with integral fanlight to front facade.
