Early C18 on site of earlier inn of 1603. Colour brick front with rainwater
head dated 1725. 3 storeys, 2nd floor level band, moulded brick cornice, parapet.
5 sash windows, ground floor canted bay on left. 1st floor wide balcony, with
decorative iron railings, of later date. Interior contains early C19 French
scenic wallpaper in front bar. Two 2nd floor dummy windows, 1st floor central
balcony doorway with 6 panel door, fanlight.
