House. C17 or earlier, extended to W in C19/C20. Timber frame on stucco
sill with painted brick infill and casing to ground floor. Steep thatch
roof half-hipped at E end. A long l½-storeys house facing S, with
internal chimney. 3 windows on N side with 2 swept dormers over and
projecting porch and stair by chimney with dormer over. 2 windows and
dormers on S with C20 semi-circular bay window to left of door.
Small-pane casement windows. Wide panels to frame in side-walls. Collar
and 3 studs above wavy tie-beam in E gable. Tall studs below end at
mid-height rail.
