Hotel. C18 front pile, c.1900 hotel addition to north. C18 house squared
and coursed carstone, tiled roof. C.1900 hotel carstone with red brick
dressings, slate roof. House 2 storeys, hotel 3 storeys with attics. House
2 ground floor and one tripartite sash with glazing bars. Single sashes
under flat carstone arches, tripartite sash under segmental arch with central
keystone. One off-centre 4 panel raised and fielded door, rectangular fan-
light. 4 first floor sashes with glazing bars. Carstone quoins and kneelers,
parapet with finial at north, stack at south, one off-centre axial stack.
To south a set back 2 storey wing with one ground and one first floor sash.
Ground floor facade and south gable squared clunch with brick dressings
suggests c.1600 date ; brick quoins and parapet, carstone first floor, C20
concrete tiled roof. C.1900 wing to north, H plan, classical style. Sea
front 5 bays, central arched porch with rustication. 4 ground floor rusti-
cated arched headed sashes with glazing bars, first floor 4 single and one
central tripartite sash with glazing bars.
