Farmhouse. c.1600, gables added 1626, extension 1900, altered late C20. Timber
frame with brick infill and brick, flint and carstone gable walls. Slate roof.
One storey and dormer attic. Close studding of thin scantling on brick plinth.
Straight braces at corners. C20 door right of centre beneath gabled porch.
3 C20 3-light cross casements. 3 C20 gable dormers rise through deep coved
eaves. Gabled roof. Stepped north gable wall on plinth. 4 2-light square
mullioned windows of chamfered brick beneath brick hoods on labels, all blocked
except one light to first floor right. Kneelers lead into coped steps to gable
head. Datestone 1626 below square internal gable stack. South gable similar
except windows no longer identifiable. West facade with timber framing and
brick infill as before. 2 C20 casements. To left 2 storey gault brick gabled
extension projects as cross wing and carries datestone C and CC 1900.
