House, now offices. Early C18. Brick, carstone and flint, rendered to facade.
Slate roofs. 2 storeys and dormer attic. Irregular bay system. Originally
2 doors, that to left now a sash window below fanlight. Panelled door to right
within fluted case and with 6-vaned fanlight below open pediment. Shop front
further right with door under fanlight. 2 other sashes complete ground floor.
4 sashes to first floor of C19 with glazing bars. Modillion eaves cornice
below gabled roof. 4 flat-headed dormers with mid C19 sashes. Internal south
gable stack and central ridge stack. 2 gabled cross wings to rear with
tumbling in gable heads. Interior. Doorway leads to barrel vaulted passage
terminating in inner door with fanlight. Main room with tongue stops to
chamfered bridging beams. Closed string staircase with moulded handrail and
square panelled newels. Butt purlin roof.
