11/32 Field Barn Cottages

Pair of estate cottages. Circa 1850. Coursed clunch with keyed gault brick
dressings. Slate roofs. Rectangular main block with slightly lower and
recessed side wings. 2 storeys. Symmetrical facade of 4 bays of 2- and
3-light casement windows with glazing bars beneath skewback arches to main
block. Pair of boarded doors to centre bays. Side wings have single bays
of blind 2-light windows with arched frames in Gothic style. Hipped roofs
to side wings. Central axial stack with a pair of angled shafts and 2 rear
wall stacks each with 3 angled shafts.
