Toll house on Walsall Canal. Probably 1840's. Brick with fishscale tiles.
Single storey. At the right is a canted projection with hipped roof. Its
three windows having glazing bars and pointed heads. At the left of the main
facade is a modern window with segmental head. To its right, in the angle
with the canted projection, is a porch with a chamfered brick doorway. Main
roof half-hipped at each end. Chimneys at left and on main ridge in line with
canted projection. Adjoins Top Lock, Walsall Locks (qv).
