House. Mid-C18. Brick with tile roof. Double-depth plan with M-roof.
A symmetrical composition of three storeys and five bays, with two string
courses. On the ground floor are two C19 timber canted bay windows con-
taining sashes with glazing bars. The other windows are also sashed with
glazing bars. Those on the first floor have segmental heads and stuccoed
lintels with false chamfered voussoirs. Door has timber doorcase covered
by late C19 lattice porch. Gables have chimneys, and crow-stepped copings.
Interior: said to have C17 panelling on first floor and some re-used timbers
in cellar. (VCH, Staffs, Vol VII, p 179).
