Public house. C18. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roofs, brick end and ridge
stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic, 2-window range 6-panel part-glazed door to
right of centre, flanked by 3-light casements windows and similar casements to
first floor. Windows and door have chamfered lintels, some stop chamfered.
Plinth, quoins, stone coped gable with kneelers to right, hipped to left. Wing
to rear left. 2-storey stable and hayloft to right with plinth, moulded stone
ends and stone coped gable with kneelers. Interior has good fitted corner
cupboard with round arched niche framed by arch with keyblock on fluted
pilasters: niche has ribbed head and shaped shelf.
