Gatehouse. C16/C17. Ground floor coursed squared ironstone; upper floor, close
studded timber framing with cross braces. Tile roof. 2 storeys; 2 bays. Carriage
entrance in right bay has wood lintel and chamfered stone jambs. 2-light
stone-mullioned window in moulded frame to left. Upper floor has 4-light
wood-mullioned window above carriage way and a one-light wood framed window to
the left. Inner doorway on left side of carriage arch has moulded wood frame
with 4-centred arch and old studded plank door. Interior not inspected. 2-storey
extension to left: c.l870, buff brick. 2 storeys; 3 bays with central gable.
