House, shop and bakery. House C17, shop and bakery said to have been converted
from former barn in the C19. House to left, coursed ironstone rubble, tile roof,
flanking brick stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 5 bays. Two 3-light wood casement
windows in moulded stone frames with square hoods on ground floor and small
one-light window in moulded stone frame in right bay. C20 two-light casement
windows with wood lintels to first floor and C20 gabled timber attic dormers.
Interior: chamfered spine beams, open fireplace with original timber bressumer
and Victorian grate. Shop and bakery to right, coursed ironstone rubble, tile
roof brick stacks. 2 storeys; 4 bays. Gabled bay to right. Entrance in left bay
has stone lintel and C20 door. Shop front to right, C19, with central
half-glazed door flanked by bay windows with moulded stone cornice. Other
windows C19 and C20. Interior: remodelled C20.
