House. Early C19. Painted brick with stone dressings and
slate roof. One storey with attic, one x 2 bays.
Rectangular bay window and porch under hipped roof, porch
now enclosed. Right return has 2nd bay breaking forward
under gable. 1st bay has canted bay window under hipped
roof. 2nd bay has 2-light casement over low lean-to
extension. Windows have small-paned casements. Central
cross-axial stack. Included for group value. Turnpike road
dates from 1723.
