Terrace of 7 houses. 1902. By Wilson and Talbot. Timber-
framed on stone base; stone slate roof, brick stacks. 2
storeys, 10 bays. Central 2 bays break forward under gable
as do 2nd and 4th bays;end bays project by one bay and are
gabled to front and returns which are paired with adjoining
gables. Gabled bays have coved jettied 1st floors and
jettied gables. Decorative timbering to 1st floor. Windows
have leaded glazing with decorative work. Ground floor
windows of 5 lights, 4-light 1st floor windows, 2-light to
4th and 7th bays. Entrances have trefoil heads and plank
doors with leaded lights. 8 cross-axial stacks and 2 outer
return lateral stacks on stone bases, all have stone caps.
Some brick to left return. Rear roughcast, dormers,
privies. Said to be based on Kenyon Peel Hall, Lancs.
