Terrace of 4 houses. 1906. By J. Lomax Simpson. Stone and
roughcast, slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. 1st bay stone,
projects under gable; 2nd and 3rd bays roughcast with
jettied 1st floor on bracketed bressumer; 4th bay projects
under jettied gable with canted ground floor, stone with
roughcast 1st floor, 5th bay has canted angle and hipped
roof. Windows to stone parts have double-chamfered
mullions, 1st bay has 2-storey canted bay window of 1:4:1
lights, similar windows to ground floor of 4th bay and 1st
floor of 5th bay. 2nd and 3rd bays have 5-light casements
to ground floor, 4-light hipped half dormers to 1st floor,
4th bay has 5-light canted oriel under jettied gable. All
windows have leaded glazing. Entrances to centre have plank
doors with small-paned lights, end bays have elliptical-
headed entrances, 1st bay has hipped porch, end bay has
dated lintel. Returns have projecting gabled roughcast
bays, 2 lateral stacks and 3 other stacks.
