Public house. Dated 1730, altered C19 and C20. Rendered stone or brick,
slate roof, brick ridge and end stacks L plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-
window range. Irregular glazing of C20 windows to ground and 1st floors
with minored surrounds. Datestone to 1st floor left of centre inscribed
SF/1730. A 1-light casement window to left of datestone, similar, slightly
wider window below the former and 2-light casement attic window to centre
directly below eaves. Fall-height wing to rear left. Present entrance to
rear with 6-panel, part-glazed door and straight hood on brackets. Interior
has chamfered spine beams.
