2. Early C19 single storey weather-boarded cottage. Half-hipped clay tile roof;
external chimney breast with tall stack at N.E end. Front elevation of two windows
and centre doorway; central ledged door and flanking sash windows each four panes
wide. Weather-boarded S.W gable with small sash window to attic. Rear elevation
weather-boarded to cill level of right hand sash window of four panel width; rear
elevation rendered above cill level. N.E gable with small sash window to attic and
with weather-boarding in gable above later brick outshut extending S.E as far as external
chimney breast (see above). The building is shown on 1840 0.S map. See p.46,
J Prizeman, Your house: the outside view, 1975 and 1982.
