of Frisby House Farm

Outbuilding, part formerly cottage. Late C16/C17 and C19. Coursed rubble stone
and red brick and Swithland slate and plain tile roof. 1 and 1½ storeys, L plan,
the C19 1 storey section projecting forward on left. The former cottage has
door with 2-light blocked stone mullion window to right. To rear a similar blocked
4-light with later opening over. To right of this the stone walling continues
to form the rear wall of the 1 storey section. Here a blocked door. Inside
the former cottage a 2 bay tie beam truss roof, with re-used beam and clasped
principals. The last unaltered fragment of the deserted medieval village of
Frisby.
