Manor house. Late C16, remodelled early C18, refenestrated and additions made, C19. Brick with plain tile and slate roofs and stone dressings. Granite rubble and chamfered brick plinths, moulded brick eaves. 3 brick gable stacks plus 2 external
lateral brick stacks with double stalks. 2 storeys, 5 bays. L-plan. East front has an off-centre doorcase with Gibbs surround, foliate decorated lintel with multiple keystone with crest, foliate frieze and moulded pediment. C19 nine panel door, the top 6 panels with stained glass. On either side, a C19 triple plain sash with keystoned segmental rubbed brick head, and beyond, to right, a similar sash. Above the door, a C19 plain sash with a keystoned segmental head, flanked to right by 3 similar sashes and to left by a C19 triple sash with flat head. To the right, set back C18 rear addition has a 3 light sliding sash with segmental head and above it, a similar sash with a flat head. North gable has a C19 sash and a half glazed door both with segmental heads. Above, a C19 cross casement and a 3 light sliding sash. South gable has 2 blocked windows. Rear elevation has to left a 2 storey stair enclosure and to its right, a single storey lean-to addition with a 3 light sliding sash flanked to the right by a 4 panel door. Above, to the right, a glazing bar sash with segmental head. In the stair enclosure return angle, a casement with a segmental head. Rear wing south side has a 3 light sliding sash flanked to right by a C20 door, both with segmental heads. Above, 2 C20 casements flanked to right by a 3 light sliding sash.
