House and adjoining boundary wall and butchers shop. Early C18
with C19 additions and alterations. Reroofed and gables rebuilt,
1963. Random granite rubble and brick with stone quoins and
dressings and concrete tile roof. Rubble and chamfered stone
plinths. Single central brick ridge stack. 2 storeys, 3 bays.
L-plan. South front has an off-centre panelled wooden doorcase
with a flat hood on scroll brackets, and a C19 half glazed door,
flanked to left by 2 glazing bar sashes and to right by a 3 light
casement, all in chamfered stone C18 openings. Above, to the
left, a 3 light C19 casement. To the right, 2 similar casements
in chamfered stone openings. East gable has to right a 2 light
C19 casement in a chamfered C18 stone opening. Above it, a 3
light mullioned window with the left light blocked. Rear wing
east side has to left a C19 half glazed door flanked to right by
a reglazed C19 casement, both with segmental heads. West gable
has to left a small mullioned casement, and to right a C20
casement. Above, an illegible datestone. To the right, a late
C19 Butchers Shop, white glazed brick with blue band and plain
tile roof. To the left, a 4 panel stable door, flanked to the
left by a plain door and to the right by a large sash window with
a glazing bar upper light. To the right again, a single storey
C19 outbuilding, granite rubble with plain tile roof. Outside, a
granite rubble boundary wall with gabled brick coping and a pair
of off-centre blue brick gatepiers and wooden gate.
