Designed by Messrs. Brown and Fisher of Wellingborough. Earlier C20. Base of
Memorial approached down 2 steps. Forms stepped plinth, cross shaped, with metal
tablets bearing the names of the dead set in angles between cross arms. Polygonal
shaft in form of preaching cross with carved heads and figures surmounted by further
cross. Set in centre of south-western angle of The Square.
