II

Lodge, mid C19, of Charnwood granite rubble with ashlar dressings and Swithland
slate roof. Central ashlar chimney stack with offsets. Wooden bargeboards with
finials. One storey. Main block lies N-S with gabled projections to E and W, that
to W with 6-panelled door beneath gabled hood on brackets. N front has central
canted bay window. Casement windows with lozenge-patterned glazing bars.
