Farmhouse, early C17, now house and office. Brick (part rendered),
stone plinth, quoins and dressings; slate roof with one ridge chimney-
stack. L-shaped baffle-entry plan, the lst bay being a forward crosswing.
Modern board door with restored dripmould at junction of 2nd and 3rd bays,
another door in re-entrant of wing; double-chamfered stone mullioned
windows at ground floor, with 4, 5, 3 and 2 lights; rendered brick
mullioned windows at flat floor, with 4, 5, 3 and 3 lights. Left side wall
has a brick band, 2 stone mullioned windows and a brick mullioned window;
right gable has mullioned lst floor and attic windows with hoodmoulds.
Rear wall has brick bands on 2 levels stepped over windows, which include
one of 5 lights and three of 2 lights, with double-chamfered stone
mullions, and there are 7 other windows with rendered brick mullions, and
a door to 3rd bay. Interior: quarter-round stop moulded beams on both
floors; inglenook with similar bressummer, a firewindow, and a stone
fireplace with moulded and shouldered jambs and moulded cornice; in 3rd
bay another stone fireplace with elaborately curved jambs and head.
