Cottage, formerly school. Dated 1847. Coursed rubble stone with quoins and Welsh
slate roof with stone and buff brick end stacks. Shouldered stone coped gables
with kneelers. 1½ storeys of 2 3-light windows with painted mullions, round arched
heads to each light and hood moulds. 2 similar 2-light dormers half below eaves.
Stone sills. Door to rear. Stone tablet on left end wall inscribed 'This school
was built A.D. MDCCCXLVII by subscription aided by the National Society.'
