Public house, perhaps C17 origin, with later additions, forming L-plan. C17 part of
rubble stone, rendered, with steeply-pitched. Thatched roof with gable end to
street. Lateral stack and canted bay window to north, canted bay window to ground
floor of west gable end with 2-light casement window above. Dormer to south. Stone
and brick additions, painted white, with Collyweston stone slate roofs, ridge and
end stacks. Two storeys. Mixed fenestration, mostly C20. C20 one-storey extension
to south.
