Pair of houses. Early C19. No. 36 altered mid C19. Stucco with slate
roof. Both 3 storeys with basement, 3 bays. Ground floor has channelled
rustication. 1st floor sill band and top cornice. Windows are sashed
except for those to No. 34 ground floor which have casements and one blind
window to 2nd floor. Round-headed entrance to No. 34 has Doric doorcase,
frieze decorated with busts, Prince of Wales feathers and lion. No. 36
has mid C19 Italianate stucco details applied: one large tripartite cambered
head window at ground floor, 3 first and 3 second floor architrave surrounds;
with alternate triangular and segmental pediments to first floor openings.
Large stuccoed doorcase with deep segmental hord pediment. Rustication
marks party wall between both properties.
