Farmhouse and attached cottage, now one dwelling and garage. Probably
late C17 or early C18, remodelled and enlarged in later C18. Sandstone
random rubble, stone slate roof on 2 levels. Two-unit plan, probably
formerly single-depth with end baffle-entry but now double-depth with
central entry, and single-depth extension set back at east end (partly
reduced). The 2-storey 2-window main range has a blocked square-headed
doorway at the right-hand end and an added gabled porch in the centre;
one 2-light mullioned window each side of the porch, that to the left
with a restored mullion and recently enlarged by the addition of a 3rd
light to its left; and at 1st floor a 2-light window to the left and
a king-mullioned window of 2+3 lights to the right; all these windows
with flat faced flush mullions and plain surrounds. Rebuilt 2-flue
chimney at right gable, small one-flue chimney on ridge at junction
with attached barn (q.v.). Former 2-bay cottage set back at right-hand
end, the 1st bay of 2 low storeys and the 2nd now reduced to single
storey, has blocked doorways to the right of each bay, altered windows
at ground floor and 2 small windows at 1st floor of 1st bay. Rear:
main range raised to 2 full storeys in Cl8 (former kneeler visible at
junction with barn); central doorway, 2 small rectangular windows at
ground floor and 3 above; small lean-to at east corner, with window
which has chamfered surround and roof made of 2 massive over-lapped
stone slabs; cottage wall altered. Interior not inspected. Forms group
with associated barn attached to west end (q.v.).

House. Late C18. Rubble, (painted 1983). Stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Two 2-
light windows, mullion removed to left. 1st floor has 2-light window, mullion
removed and one 5-light window. All mullions are square. 2 doorways. Dripstone
over centre. Gable chimneys.
