Seghole Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. Mid C18 with later addition. Coursed gritstone rubble, stone slate
roof. 2 storeys, 1:2 bays; rear outshut to bay 1. Mid C18 house on right: large
quoins; central C20 porch with re-used datestone marked 'HWA/1740'. To left of
porch on each floor are 4-light windows with square-faced surrounds and concrete
mullions; similar 3-light windows on right. Bay 1 appears to be an addition re-using
a 5-light double-chamfered, mullioned window to ground floor and a single-chamfered
4-light window above. Shaped kneelers, gable copings; end stacks to each part.
Interior not inspected: RCHM notes chamfered spire beams and splat-balustered stair-
case.
