With Nos 2, 2a and 2b Catmos Street. A late C17 and early C18 house
much altered and extended. Stone. Slate roof. Moulded stone eaves
cornice. 2-storeys. 4 windows (and 1 oriel) straight stone arches with
keystones. Centre, formed by the gable end of the centre part of the
building, breaks forward and includes a modern oriel window over a modern
door. The gable end is stone capped, and contains a large circular moulded
stone blank plaque. A large gable end to Catmos Street contains a wide
segmental brick arched shallow recess with stone keystone, extended over
2-storeys with 1 window to each. Above is a similar stone plaque.
Stabling extends up Catmos Street with wide gable over doorway in centre.
4 windows, elliptical stone arches.
