Lodge of c1860. Coursed squared stone with stone plinth and dressings
and plain tile pyramid roof with central moulded stone stack of 4 grouped
flues. 1 storey of a 6/6 sash window either side a door with stone canopy.
6/6 sash on left end and 2 similar on right end. A wall joins similar
smaller 1 storey building at rear. Single flued central stack. This
lodge is at the entrance to the unique yew tree topiary avenue, formerly
a drive to Clipsham Hall, and forms a group with the piers and gates
(q.v.).
