Marsh Farmhouse

Farmhouse, dated 1803, a pair of cottages (not included in item) adjoining
at west end under one roof. Brick with stone dressings, rendered at back
and sides, concrete tiled roof. Double pile plan of 2 bays, facing north.
2 storeys, symmetrical, with gable chimney stacks. Front has central
doorway, probably altered, with wide semi-circular relieving arch of
brick with stone imposts and keystone inscribed B F

and containing slightly recessed plain rectangular stone doorcase and
panelled door. Ground floor has one window each side, sashed with
glazing bars, stone sills and splayed heads; 1st floor has 3 similar
windows.
