Farmhouse, formerly vicarage, c,184O. Red brick with some sandstone dressings
and slate roof. Main range faces south, with rear wing at right angles having
2 parallel roofs. South facade of 2 bays, recessed between pilaster strips,
each with a brick corbel table below eaves level. Windows each of 2 sashed lights
separated by a chamfered mullion and with a hood. Gables have brick parapets
with stone copings. Chimneys between bays and on right-hand gable. Left-hand
(west) gable wall has central part recessed with triangular head. On the

This echoes arcading on the Church of St. John (q.v.), which it faces. The west
wall of the rear wing has 2 recessed sections separated by a pilaster strip and
with corbel tables under the eaves. In the left-hand section are 3 adjacent
round-headed windows. At the right is a door with stone surround and round head.
